Congratulations on launching this very cool substack/newsletter. I'm guessing that if you're from NYC, you probably already know Bryce Gruber. Thought it worth a mention because she's found great success with her substack and newsletter; thought she could serve as an inspiration for you. Finally, would love to hear more about how you landed in Beaufort! I'm from NJ and relo'd to Charlotte, NC almost a decade ago. (WHAT?! Still sounds crazy every time I say it!) Have a safe and exciting trip! Looking forward to future newsletters from you. /gr

Thank you so much Geri!!! I don't know Bryce personally, but I do know we have many mutual colleagues! I'll have to tap her for some Substack wisdom in the near year, I'd love to connect and get her insights! Our Beaufort origin story is pretty wild....we basically bought our place completely sight unseen after falling head over heels with the area when I was on assignment/work trip during the pandemic. The rest as they say is history and we've met so many East Coasters/fellow NJ expats in our neighborhood. Anyways, thanks so much for the note and stay tuned for my next dispatch in the new year. In the meantime happy holidays!!

Love this! Very jealous of your upcoming assignments, particularly the luxury wellness ex. wellness retreats. And interesting white lotus death theories, I hope Tanya’s husband is one of the bodies, back from Denver 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Exceptional first newsletter. I’m a buzz and exhausted by your travel highlight reel. Looking forward to following your cross-country adventures! I just got back from Arizona - try and do a good tour of old Scottsdale if you can sneak one in.

Arizona food tours in old town, hot air balloon ride (depending on how many days you’re there for), cowboy chows for the chopped salad, cocktails at the Westin Kirkland for the sunset bagpipes, spa day at the Phoenician - I’ve been to almost every spa in Phoenix and it’s my favourite, sumo maya for Mexican / Asian fusion (different but delish)!
